Aijaz Ahmad

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Aijaz Ahmad — Marxist scholar, political commentator, literary theorist. Aijaz was one of Tulika’s early authors, with the book titled Lineages of the Present: Political Essays, in our series of books of selected essays by eminent scholars in various disciplinary fields. He remained a friend and comrade who took great interest in Tulika’s publishing journey ever since.
